The Kurdish-led alliance in northern Syria has been warning us about this. Many retired military officials have been warning us about this. Knowledgeable journalists have been warning us about this. And now a report from the Defense Department is warning us that it is taking place:
The report from the Pentagon's inspector general identified the Oct. 9 Turkish move into Syria — three days after a phone call between President Donald Trump and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan — as the tipping point. The invasion affected the U.S. mission against ISIS, the U.S. relationship with its chief military ally in the fight against ISIS, the Syrian Democratic Forces, and control of territory in northeastern Syria.
This really makes one wonder what is going on between Donald Trump and Erdogan, the Islamist quasi-dictator of Turkey, whom Trump calls a “very good friend”. Has Erdogan promised Trump more Trump Towers in Turkey or has he promised to manufacture some dirt on Joe Biden? Whatever it is, the results are not good:
"ISIS exploited the Turkish incursion and subsequent drawdown of U.S. troops to reconstitute capabilities and resources within Syria and strengthen its ability to plan attacks abroad," according to a Defense Intelligence Agency analysis of open sources, the report said.

So, while Trump calls Erdogan a “very good friend” and allows him to ethnically cleanse Kurds, which was also one of a ISIS’ goals, ISIS itself is reconstituting itself thanks to Trump green lighting Erdogan’s dreams of a neo-Ottoman Empire.
