I know, I know. Clinton doesn't deserve such a gesture. But when you are as far ahead as Obama, you can afford to be generous. (Of course, it's not up to Obama to "allow" - but he could at least let her have a pass on this talking point)
So - let's look at the positives and negatives to letting her count take the bulk of the delegates/popular vote from Florida.
Negative (for Obama):
According to Real Clear Politics, allowing the popular vote to stand in Florida still leaves Obama with a 205,581 margin over Clinton (and this doesn't even include the caucus estimates for IA, NV, ME and WA, which if included gives Obama a margin of 315,803).
So - near as I can tell, letting Clinton win this talking point reduces Obama's margin from 500,353 to 205,581 (again, excluding IA, NV, ME and WA).
